Hi, I’m Jessica.
I’m a pastry chef and baking instructor currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, I was instilled with a love for food early on. Homemade dumplings, chicken broth from scratch and jook were the norm in my household.
In 2016, I earned my Professional Pastry Certificate from the San Francisco Cooking School. Upon graduating, I spent a month staging around San Francisco.
It was during this time I found my first restaurant home, the Michelin starred restaurants State Bird Provisions and The Progress. There I learned to hone my technique and widen my view of what a dessert could be.
In 2018, I moved to Oahu where...
I was the Pastry Chef for the modern Vietnamese restaurant, The Pig and the Lady. In 2019 I traveled to Tokyo, Japan where I helped open The Pig and the Lady Japan.
In 2019, I moved back to the bay area and reunited with my old boss at Stonemill Matcha where I became Pastry Chef.
Today, I can be found at occasional pop ups around the bay area, working on passion projects and teaching what I have learned to baking enthusiasts.
